Ever miss a bus by a minute or see your buddies driving out of where you were presupposed to meet as you were pulling in? Yup, it happens.They say timing is everything, and that i agree. I've definitely been on the wrong place on the wrong time too often, but I've also been on the right place on the wrong time too.
Years back after I was first a blackjack dealer, I got into craps school and was learning all I MAY in regards to the game. I DO NOT know the way long that hand were going once I joined, or how long it went. Bummer, especially since I USED TO BE late and got in trouble anyway!
That long roll didn't exactly make the shooter a craps legend, but it surely was still cool. Once more I USED TO BE off work and left a poker game to test the craps game round the corner on the Nevada Club, aptly designated because the "armpit of Reno" by locals and tourists alike. But the funny thing was that after I asked the boxman in regards to the long hand, he said "Yes, it was a protracted one, however the table's only stuck about $4,000." That is what happens when everyone at the table is 1 / 4 player, it takes a very long time to get those bets as much as an inexpensive level. I remember thinking, "Damn, I MIGHT have toked the dealers greater than $4,000, but again, timing is everything.
