Yup, that's an image of Downtown Vegas, for the reason that Fremont Experience has morphed into something mentioned world wide. It's cool, the lights are amazing, the music plays, the players within the casinos wander from place to put and revel in hot pretzels, huge drinks, and some strange Vegas-ites that dress up and act weird (oh, sorry, not really an act). Before Vegas got the theory to radically change their downtown area, Reno gaming was flat and town wondered what to do with their downtown area also, in order that they waited. Then came Fremont Street, but nobody desired to block traffic on Virginia Street, so mostly nothing was done, except thousands of lots of really expensive paving stones were imported from China at a staggering cost. Unfortunately most of these are gone, because when winter came, they were really slippery and those kept falling on their ass, similar to Reno has. Bummer, and sort of ironic!
