I have a chum who swears he never bets baseball during April. He always waits until May before placing his wagers, so as to him, I dedicate this blog - and good luck to you my Mayfair Friend. For the remainder of us, those who can't wait until Spring Training is over, how are things going? As always, I bet streaks and trends. I LIKE to take a look at 3-game series and find easy money, and so far, as usual, the season goes well. Trust me, I'm no betting genius, I just follow the streaks on paper, and bet them to finish after three or four games. I always look good early on, it's maintaining the pace for six-months that's hard.
Sure, it's kind of more complicated than that, for example I just bet Houston to lose because they won two in a row. Well, for the Astros that's a very long streak! In the event you were wondering, I bet on opening day. Took a couple of favorites with good lines, and went from there, but don't consult me concerning the Brewers. I missed the entire 10-game streak. Within the past, I'd have won a minimum of FIVE OR SIX straight games, but I just didn't believe in them. Now maybe I NEED TO. Can they retain winning? They were the primary team to win 20 games. That's strong. To compensate from my earlier gaff, I USED TO BE forced to wager a little on their chances to win the arena Series. 15 to at least one still sounds good.
As for the opposite World Series, that poker thing, it's arising real soon. I WILL BE there for opening day too, checking the action, wondering if I'D profit a real WSOP event this year. Who knows. I'll even be on the lookout for a possibility to play Vegas Three Card Rummy somewhere rather than online. The game's like Three Card Poker, with slightly better odds. Try it, you'll like it!.
