Roulette Tips - Casino Gambling

Players from all countries can PLAY!

Gayle Mitchell's Casino Players Workshop & Seminars is pleased to introduce a new line of handy, pocket-size Casino Gambling Tips Booklets that you simply can take to any casino for a fast-track education. Five titles was released containing 101 Tips each on casino gaming in general, slots, video poker and getting comps from casinos. Also Roulette Made Easier.

Following is excerpt from booklet: Roulette Made Easier.

ROULETTE MADE EASIER

Roulette: one of my favorite table games; the third hottest casino game worldwide, after slots and video poker. In Casino Gambling Made Easier books; roulette with double zeros was not considered a best bet at 5.26%, well above the 3% allowed to make the most productive bet list; however, a single zero wheel at 2.63% certainly qualifies.

Warning: the five number bet of 0, 00, 1, 2, 3 blasts that 5.26% out of the home with an fringe of 7.89%---don't do it!

EUROPEAN ROULETTE: SINGLE 0.

Single zero positioned between black 26 and red 32. The most productive roulette wheel reduces the casino advantage to an acceptable 2.63%. Another advantage is en prison rule on even-money bets. When the 0 comes up, your bet remains or is captured for the following spin. If you happen to win at the next spin, you do not get paid for the win, but you're allowed to take your original bet back; in effect, only losing half your bet. House edge on even money bets with en prison rule and single zero is now reduced to 1.35%.

Now why roulette is probably the most popular casino table game internationally. More Casino Gambling Made Easier offers a global Casino Travelogue listing single-zero roulette games globally.

You'll find 'en prison' rule at Atlantic City casinos. Most well liked roulette number is 18.

The intelligent player makes a sequence of predetermined bets as opposed to betting "everywhere in the table"; be consistent in your betting system.

My favorite system: Place red or black bet with corresponding column bets to hide 26 numbers as follows: Black bet covers all eighteen black numbers - also bet Column 3 under #36 for eight (most) red numbers. Red bet covers all 18 red numbers: also bet Column 2 under #35 for eight (most) black numbers.

As of this writing, Monte Carlo, MGM Grand, Reserve, and Stratosphere in Vegas offer the only zero table. Harrah's East Chicago, Indiana and Grand Casino Tunica, Ms. are others in U.S. These tables will raise the minimum bets for this preferred option; requiring a larger bankroll.

There are five other proven systems in the booklet Roulette Made Easier. Keep spinning those wheels for profits and do not forget progressive betting after each win.

Las eFortuny Poker Series repiten en 2014

Players from all countries can PLAY!
AtlantisGold

Players from all countries can PLAY!

"Algo me huele a podrido"."Algo me huele a podrido".

Starting Hands

Starting Hands
Part 2: Starting Tight
by Guide Bill Burton

The two videotapes I picked up when I started this project  had similar ideas about starting hands for beginner players. Both tapes stressed limiting the choice of hands played. Playing any starting hand is regarded as playing loose while limiting your play to the stronger hands is thought of as playing tight. They advised playing tight and limiting your play to just probably the most powerful starting hands for your first few sessions. These are basically cards which you could play from early position. There are 16 opening hands that fit this criterion.

The Fantastic Five
AA KK QQ JJ AKs

If you might have these you'll be able to raise from any position and re-raise if the pot is raised before you. The opposite starting hands I'VE dubbed the early eleven.

The Early Eleven
AQs AJs ATs KQs KJs QJs
AK AQ JTs TT 99

All of those hands may also be played from any position on the way to alleviate making positional mistakes It was also suggested to play small pairs in late position in an UN-RAISED pot but be prepared to fold in case you don't  flop a set. If you're the big blind and nobody has raised you get to peer the flop without putting in any longer money. You're going to stick with any cards because you already have bet the hand.

You may well be thinking that limiting your play to those hands is playing too tight but there's a logical cause of this recommendation. In the "How to overcome Winning Hold'em Players" tape, Ben Tracy stresses the significance of the patience and discipline had to become a winning player. He suggests playing only these hands for a three-hour test. If you cannot limit your play in this time frame it is important to work a lot more on you discipline when you ever hope to become a winning player.

I think that is some sound practical advice for anyone starting out. After a few sessions of tight play you are going to gain confidence and will begin to expand the choice of starting hands you play.  If you're just starting out you might as well learn the sport correctly from the start. This implies learning, which hands are playable and which aren't. It is going to be much more profitable if you do.

When I participated within the free poker lesson at Foxwoods, The dealer suggested that I enter their low limit tournament to get the texture of live table play. I WILL BE ABLE TO do that three-hour test after I enter the tournament next week. Limiting my play to those hands will allow me to be aware of the opposite fundamentals of the sport. I can use the time to look at other players, attempt to read hands and establish a strong table image.

Cabbies in Las Vegas are notorious for jacking up fares by taking longer routes but one Las Vegas cabbie is making headlines for his honesty.

Cabbie Gerardo Gamboa had what gave the impression of one more average fare in late December, driving a 28 year-old male a boost from the Cosmopolitan to Palm's Place. The 2 didn't speak through the roughly two mile ride and every went about their business after the fare was completed, with Gamboa getting a $5 tip of a roughly $10 fare.

Gamboa noticed during his next fare that the fellow had left behind a brown paper bag that he'd forgotten, with Gamboa joking to his current ride that it probably was chocolate as he opened it to look what it was.

What it was turned out to be $300,000 in cash -- a stunning amount of cash to be absent-mindedly left behind in a cab. Some cabbies could have been tempted to skip town with the loot but Gamboa promptly turned it into the cab company he worked for, who managed to find the landlord who'd left it behind and returned the money.

His identity hasn't been revealed but apparently the 28 year-old is a widely known poker pro who regularly hits up high-stakes cash games and tournaments. It is not unusual for high-stakes poker players to address and feature access to huge sums of money nevertheless it is uncommon for considered one of them to forget it and leave large sums of money within the backseat of a cab.

Gamboa's honestly was originally rewarded by his employers with a $1,000 bonus and a steak dinner for 2 -- in addition to being named cabbie of the year for Yellow Checker Star -- however the anonymous poker player eventually anted up himself, giving Gamboa a reward of $10,000 for returning his money.

Gamboa isn't letting the eye visit his head, as he said he'll be back in his cab for brand new Year's Eve and chalked up his act to good parenting greater than anything in a up to date interview: "I'VE lots of people calling me and telling me how honest I'M.

Players from all countries can PLAY!
AtlantisGold

Say 10-4 to the Craps Press Bet

Players from all countries can PLAY!
AtlantisGold
Many players use some form of betting systems once they play craps. Something it's a must to understand is that no betting system can alter the home edge on any bet. The home edge will depend on the amount of cash the casino pays you whilst you win when it comes to the actual odds for the bet.

What a player hopes to perform by utilizing a betting system is to exploit the quick turn fluctuations in probability. As an example in craps the ratio of a seven being rolled is 6 to one. This implies ultimately over billions of rolls it'll average out to a seven being rolled one time for each six rolls. However within the short turn this doesn't hold true. A player may roll three sevens in a row, or roll 50 numbers without rolling seven. It is a short term fluctuation of the dice probabilities is the explanation why a few of these betting systems can also be profitable in some playing sessions. One system I REALLY LIKE to make use of is known as the 10/4 Press.

Betting the other Point: If I'M betting the passline I REALLY LIKE to make a spot bet at the opposite collection of the purpose. In the event you have a look at a couple of dice you can see the highest and bottom numbers are opposites for every number combination. The 6 is opposite of the 8. As an example: If the six is shaped by the 2 dice with 5-1 (6) on one side and the other side might be 6-2 (8). A MIX of five is the other of the 9 and the mix of four is the other of 10.

A place bet at the four or ten pays $9 for a $5 bet. If the four or the 10 is the point, I make a $5 place bet at the opposite number. I then press my place bet as much as a “buy” bet. This is the way it looks.

Place the four or ten for 5 dollars. If the shooter sevens out you're out $5.

On the primary hit you can be paid $9Tell the dealer to Press your bet. Your pace bet will visit $10 and you'll get $4. (If the shooter now sevens out you can be minus $1)

On the second one hit you may be paid $18. Tell the Dealer to shop for the number. The dealer increases your bet to $25 and provides you back $3. (If the Shooter now sevens out you may be plus $2)

When you purchase a number, you pay a 5% commission to be paid true odds for your bet. Whilst you buy the four or ten, you may be paid 2 to at least one in preference to 9 to five on your bet. In some casinos you may be required to present the commission in your buy bet up front. In other casinos you simply pay the commission when your bet wins.

On the third hit you can be paid $50 (minus $1 Commission) (IF the Shooter now sevens out you should have a profit of $51)

After the third hit you've two options: <BR>1) You'll be able to leave your buy bet up and collect $49 for every hit. 2) You'll be able to regress your bet to $5 and take back an extra $20 profit.

Either way you've made some big profits with little or no risk. That’s why I say “10-4” to pressing the four and ten place bets.

Players from all countries can PLAY!

What's one of the overlooked concept occupied with playing winning Texas Hold’em is your position on the table during a hand.

There may be an adage that claims “The Key to success in Business is Location, Location, Location”. Well to paraphrase that announcing “The key to success in Texas Hold’em is “Position, Position, Position.” Yet the vast majority of the newer players and a few of the older ones either do not know concerning the importance of position or they just decide to ignore it. Before we even begin to discuss starting hands you have to understand the significance of position.

TO ACHIEVE SUCCESS playing Texas Hold’em you must learn the 3 P’s: Position, Power and Patience. Position is the primary P since the strength of your hand (Power) is dependant upon your position to the dealer button. A starting hand that you'd throw away in early position could be a hand you could raise with in late position or in case you are at the button.

Your position will depend on where you might be sitting in relationship to the dealer's button. Unlike seven card stud, where the betting order changes with each betting round, the order is fixed in Texas Hold'em. Before the flop the individual to the left of the large blind bets first. After the flop the primary active player to the left of the dealer button acts first. In case you are in early position you are going to remain there for all betting rounds. (EVEN SUPPOSING the blinds make their decision last before the flop, the have actually acted first by posting the blind bets.)

There are seven positions in a 10 handed Hold’em game.Small Blind – Player posting small blind.Big Blind – Player Posting Big Blind.Under the Gun (UTG)- Player who acts first after the massive blind.Early – The 2 players after UTG.Middle – The 2 players after Early.Late – The 2 players after Middle.Button- The player with the dealer button.

If you end up in early position you have got a definite disadvantage since you do not know what the players acting when you will do. It's possible that the pot may well be raised and re-raised when you enter the hand. Because of this you must have a far stronger hand if you wish to play from earl position. Before you call the blind with a hand from early position you would like to wonder if you happen to would play that hand for those who knew the pot could be raised. When you wouldn't call a raise with that hand then you definately won't play.

In poker, knowledge is power. The additional info you have, the easier chance you may have of accessing your opponent’s hands. The later you act within the around the additional information you will have. When you're in late position you will have already seen what the players before you may have done. If there was a raise and or re-raise you understand that probably the most players potentially have strong hands and you'll fold. If there were no callers, and also you are last to behave you'll be able to sometimes steal the blind merely by raising with a marginal hand as a result of your position. You are going to hear players discuss with this play as a positional raise.

There are lots of hands in Hold’em which are drawing hands. Suited cards and connectors play well against a big field. Playing a hand comparable to a suited 9-10 for a single bet when there are FIVE OR SIX players calling the pot may also be profitable if you happen to make your hand. You won’t make your hand often so that you have the desire to make sure there may be enough money within the pot to provide you the right kind odds whilst you play these hands.

Getting correct odds means there may be enough money within the pot to hide the days that you simply won’t make your hand when it comes to the percentages of creating your hand. For those who play this hand from early position and the pot is raised forcing other players to fold, you may also end up against one or two players with strong hands and never enough money within the pot to make it profitable to continue together with your hand after the flop.

In late position after the flop you will have additional information that can assist you decide how one can play. You probably have a powerful hand, you'll be able to raise in case your opponents bet otherwise you can bet if everyone has checked. You can also choose to check to realize a free card when you've got a drawing hand. If there were bets or raises before you, and your hand was not helped by the flop, you'll fold without it costing you an extra bet.

In early position you don't have this luxurious after the flop. When you bet there's the risk that you'll be raised. In case you have nothing and sign in hopes of seeing the turn without cost a player in later position would definitely bet and you'll have to fold. If in case you have a robust hand and sign in the hopes of check raising there's a chance that everybody else will check and you'll lose some potential bets that may have gone into the pot.

Texas Hold’em is a game of many variables. Your hand, your opponents, your position and the action that preceded you're all factors that experience to be taken into consideration during a hand. No two hands are alike which means that you can’t play every hand the similar way. Understanding the significance of position might help you in making the proper decisions. Players who think that they are able to play the similar hand from any position don't seem to be going to be winners in the end. Learning to play the appropriate hand from the appropriate position will go a ways in improving your game.Position is likely one of the most ignored and misunderstood concepts of Texas Holdem. Many new players pays their hand without regarding their position. Not all Holdem hands are playable from every position

Beating Pai Gow Poker

Beating Pai Gow Poker at your local casino isn't as tough as you think that! Although there are books at the subject like Sanford Wong's Optimal Strategy for Pai Gow Poker, there are some simple belongings you can do to extend your chance of winning during your session.

How to Play Pai Gow Poker

Pai Gow poker is played with a typical English deck of 52 cards plus the joker, or bug. However, unlike regular poker games where the joker may played as any card, in Pai Gow the joker can only be used as an ace, or a card that completes a straight or a flush. Also in Pai Gow, an ace-2-3-4-5 straight is the second one highest straight.

The strange thing about Pai Gow is that every player gets 7 cards! After placing your bet, the shuffle machine will deliver each hand for the dealer to set out at the table in front of every player. An electronic signal will specify which player gets which hand, or the dealer will shake a cup with three dice to make a choice the primary spot for hand delivery.

Pai Gow is all about hand setting. The hands are grouped right into a high handcrafted up of 5 cards, and a lower value low hand of just two cards. Because there are lots of possibilities with seven cards, a high hand could be a straight and the low hand only a pair, otherwise you could be dealt a real pai gow - a hand with out a straight, flush or pair.

The player's job is to set their cards into two hands, ensuring the five-card hand is the top. Once the dealer sets the Banker hand using a casino-chosen house way, the hands are compared. If the player's two-card hand beats the banker's two-card hand AND the player's five-card hand beats the banker's five-card hand, the player wins. If one wins and one loses, this is a push. If either player hand is identical value because the banker’s hand this can be a tie, or copy, and the Banker wins. If the Banker’s two hands beat either one of your hands you lose.

The Banker's Edge

It's that copy aspect that provides the home (or banker) an edge, since two hands will copy about 2.6 percent of the time, so the banker wins 29.9 percent of the results and the player wins 28.6 percent. In addition, when the player does win, the home charges a 5 percent commission, except in EZ Pai Gow. There'll be an overall tie 41.5 percent of the time.

Beating Pai Gow Poker

The house uses a house-way to set each hand, and a player can stay almost in spite of the home by playing in an analogous manner. In fact, you'll be able to ask the dealer that can assist you set your hand. The home always starts with the concept it doesn't need to lose. You wish to play the most productive two hands, which isn't always the most productive hand possible within the high hand.

If you might be dealt four aces and a two, three, and four, it is advisable play the four aces within the high (five-card) hand with the deuce, and the 4-3 within the low (two-card) hand. Or, it is advisable to play three aces within the high hand and an ace-4 within the low hand (which most players do). However, the home knows that if it plays an ace-ace within the low hand it might probably not be beat, since four aces are out and the most efficient some other player could play within the low hand is a king-king, and it'll beat a couple of other hands with the pair of aces within the high hand. So, don't gamble - always attempt to play an excellent two-card hand. Learn Pai Gow strategy like blackjack basic strategy.

Simple Pai Gow Strategy
  • When you haven't any pair, straight, or flush, play the top card together with your high hand (the five-card hand) and the following two highest cards within the low (the two-card hand) hand.
  • Two pair where the highest pair is an aces, split. Two pair where the highest pair is kings, split except when the opposite pair is deuces, then play together and play the 2 highest remaining cards within the low hand. Otherwise use the two-pair rules that follow:
  • Two pair: sixes and below, split unless you hold an ace, then play at the side of the ace and the following highest card within the low hand.
  • Two pair: 7's thru 10's, split unless you hold an ace, then play at the side of the ace and the following highest card within the low hand.
  • Two pair: Jack's thru Aces, split - obviously with the top pair within the high hand.
Three Pair

Play the top pair within the low hand.

Three of a Kind

Always play together except when the cards are aces, then play a couple of aces within the high hand and a single ace with the following highest card within the low hand.

Full House

Always split with the pair within the low hand unless you've gotten a second pair also, then play the top of the two-pair's within the low hand.

Straight and Flushes

Keep the straight or flush within the high hand, choosing which-ever will give you the top card for the low hand. The exception is while you even have two pair, then split consistent with the 2 pair rules. Straights and Flushes are always kept together within the five card hand unless you furthermore may have a couple of tens or better. In cases where you've got a couple of tens for a five card hand WITH an AK or better for the 2 card hand – it's possible you'll consider splitting up a straight or a flush.

Four of a Kind
  • Four of a kind, sixes or lower, keep together.
  • Four of a kind, seven thru tens, split unless you've got an ace or better to play within the low hand.
  • Four of a sort face cards, Aces, Kings, Queens, or Jacks, always split, unless you have got another pair to play within the low hand.
Five Aces

Always split unless you furthermore mght have a couple of kings, then play the kings within the low hand.

Bonus Bets

The house makes more cash at the bonus bets (Fortune bonus, etc.) than at the commission it charges at Pai Gow. The bonus bets make the sport more exciting and supply the anticipation of huge payoffs, but when you would like to beat Pai Gow, don't play the bonus bets.

Banking

The best chance a player has of thrashing Pai Gow is once they are given the risk to Bank frequently. I've seen heads-up games where the player was allowed to bank every-other hand. That's a phenomenal game, but don't anticipate finding it. Instead, most casinos offer the player an opportunity to bank once every seven hands. When you've got the bankroll, take the bank, because of this you're playing your money against any other player at the table!

In this case, you could just use the house-way to set your hand. And, you'll pay commission on what you win. The most efficient a part of banking is winning when the opposite players make mistakes setting their hands. That's your edge!
